(posted 8-16-24): Once again, I will be the head referee for the National Home School tournament that is held in the Omaha area on TH 10-31, FR 11-1, and SA 11-2. This year, the tournament will be played at the Iowa West Fieldhouse in Council Bluffs. The tournament is played mostly in the daytime, starting about 8 am each day. In the past, they have had a phenomanal hospitatility rooom, but I have not yet heard what the plans are for this year.
If you register, please be aware of any possible NSAA district or sub-district assignments.
The pay amounts are much less for working at the Home School tournament than working any other level of volleyball. But it is an acceptable amount and it's a great tournament with great participants. This year, there will probably be only one referee assigned to each match. There will be 2 assigned referees for all gold matches.
