4-18-24 Most sessions are full. However, I can accept all registrations for the 1st session. And I will accept national or junior national referees for the boys session(s). Notification of acceptances and declines have been made for all sessions.
Referee payments will be made through a new website in 2024. Create a payment account at reftown.com
You must have your bank account information available when you register for at reftown.com
There should be an option on your profile to enter Direct Deposit information.
AAU is subscribed to RefTown's direct deposit services. Add your account information in order to have future payments made directly to your bank account.
Reftown uses the best available practices to encrypt your banking information. Your organization administrators and assignors DO NOT have access to the details. Only REFTOWN administrators have access to the details in order to execute the payments on behalf of the organizations. If you are concerned about your account security, check with your bank for options such as pay cards or secondary accounts to receive payments separate from your primary account.

2024 REFEREE PAY INCREASE
Referee match pay has increased for the 2024 and 2025 tournaments. If you attend the AAU National Championships in 2024, you will receive a raise in pay. If you return again in 2025, you will receive an additional raise. For anyone who comes to the 2025 tournament for the first time (or did not work in the 2024 tournament), you will receive the 2024 pay rates. The travel stipend has increased for the 2024 tournament. All referees will now receive (in your final pay):

Referee registration is open (1-15-24). Prior to registration, make sure you have a current AAU membership (aauvolleyball.org) Membership fees have increased this year because of enhanced background screens. Read the Referee Registration Information document before you register.

Any AAU outerwear can be worn in the facility when not working. The preferred outerwear that can be worn on the stand is this year’s new AAU jacket. Do NOT wear other organizations clothing in the facility.
1099 INFORMATION
If you need your 1099 from last year's AAU championship tournament, go to ArbiterSports.com and log in. From your menu of accounts (or groups), you should see a group called ArbiterPay. Click on that account and a link to your 1099 should be available. If you have trouble, you need to contact Arbiter (801-576-9436) directly. I cannot help you with ArbiterPay or your 1099.
